Did Your Twitter Fly Off?

Twitter logoAs of June 11, Twitter has retired Twitter API v1.0. I know, I know, what the heck does that mean? Twitter API v1.0 could be used to generate a list of your tweets on your page. If you are using it, you’ll notice that your Twitter widget has stopped appearing.

The solution for this is to add the new version of the Twitter widget. You can get the code from here: http://twitter.com/settings/widgets. You’ll need to log into Twitter to get the code, and I’d suggest doing it from the same account you’ll be displaying. This ensures everything is is one place, and you don’t lose access to it by having it in another account.

You can see our shiny new Twitter widget to the side of this page, or anywhere on the site in the footer.

If you want more of the nitty gritty, you can read more here: https://dev.twitter.com/blog/api-v1-is-retired.
